Hello everybody; here’s to hoping that the year of the dragon will be an auspicious one for the rebirth of mangephoto…
I think my favorite this month is JulienV’s; I really like the image, although I’m not quite sure I get it (why is there a lemon? Why?). I also really like Pipoman’s, great colors and textures, although once again, I’m not sure what it is… And thank you for the beautiful pictures of cold, dry winter days and naked trees, I haven’t seen one of those in 7 years now!
I never once thought about using the little OSD “sun”, so it’s funny to see two people having that same idea.
Mine was taken at the “thieves’ market” in Hanoi (thus called because it’s supposed to be the place where you can buy back whatever was stolen from you in the city, but it’s also a treasure trove of tools, electronic components, motorbike parts, etc.); nothing special to say, just make sure it’s fully loaded, because it’s truly pointless without the bottom part (and this site sometimes, sadly, only sends half-pics). The bonus one was taken in the same place, and may be a little off-topic, but the spirals and stuff reminded me of the kind of “celestial spheres” drawings in old astronomy treatises, hence the light bulb as sun.

First, to answer Mathias, I had a lemon in my fruit basket… Isn’t it a good enough reason? And I’d like the idea to have a yellow sun as a part of a larger sun (orange).
My favorite one is the Niko’s bonus. Very funny and I like very much the framing, la composition de l’image.
Happy to see that we’re on work again, happy new year of wonderful photos.

I like the pipoman’s picture. It remind me “the Fountain” movie’ special effects.
I like the colors of the JulienV contribution too.

j’avoue ce theme ne m’inspirais pas, mais au vue de vos contributions, je me dit qu’il suffisait de se creuser un peu la tete et d’agir, et hop.
Donc ma préféré, c’est la bonus de NicolasP, je trouve l’idée très bonne…
Concernant la mienne: j’etais dépité a mon boulot, sans idée, je ne voyais meme pas le soleil, alors j’ai juste fait un dessin, et puis après quand même, comme c’etait vraiment moche, j’ai pris en photo le sol de mon bureau avec mon téléphone, et je l’ai ajouté a mon dessin. Et en fait le résultat n’est pas si mal…

Comme Alex ma préférée est la bonus de NicoP, j’aime bien aussi l’histoire de celle de Mathias et le coté sorcellerie de celle de Julien.
Pour la bonus d’Alex et moi, et bien on a eu l’idée au même moment alors qu’on discutait de la mangephoto soleil et que j’ai changé la luminosité de mon écran. Ensuite on en a fait une interprétation chacun.
